INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S CAFÉ MEETS FANZINE WORKSHOP: RAISING OUR VOICES – THE FAN- ZINE AS A FORM OF EXPRESSION WITH NATALIA BÓRQUEZ

What is a Fanzine? A Fanzine is an independent and self-managed publication that can address vari–
ous topics, such as feminism, music, hobbies, art, activism, etc. The possibilities are endless! What is
the content of the workshop? The workshop will be divided into two parts: A first theoretical part and a
second part of creating a collective fanzine, where each one of the participants will make a contributi-
on. Suggested workshop materials: scrap paper, glue (sticks), scissors, assorted pens, pencils, markers, collage material like old magazines and newspapers (not mandatory). We will also provide some material.
This workshop is beginner-friendly; no experience necessary! It will be held in English. If you need translation, please contact us!
